Money may not buy happiness, but it definitely delivers peace of mind.

Money's been on my mind a lot these past few months. We're looking for investors for my husband's business, & trying to figure out how to make next to nothing stretch as much as possible.

Because we didn't have a lot in savings when we started on this venture, we've considered a few different options, including secured loans, using the equity in our home. For a time we even had our home up for sale, but nothing really came of it. I can't begin to explain how stressful that was - trying to keep things looking "sell-able" with a houseful of young children!

Fortunately, we haven't had to worry too much about paying down credit card. We've kept our credit limit low on the card we have, which makes it easier to stay on top of things when money is tight.

One thing that has been on my mind though, is car insurance. Our oldest is 16 & learning to drive, which means our premiums will go up and I may get a few more gray hairs before it's all said and done. ;)
